This is a full-time position where you will work primarily onsite at our innovative rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patientsโ€™ functional capabilities using diagnostic tests to ensure a holistic understanding of their orthopedic and rehabilitative needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, with a focus on pain management, mobility enhancement, and strength rehabilitation.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure proficient implementation of care plans and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of advanced modalities to facilitate optimal recovery.
  • Assess patientsโ€™ home environments and recommend modifications to enhance safety, accessibility, and independence during rehabilitation.
  • Regularly monitor patient progress, documenting changes in condition and updating care plans as needed to reflect their evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Conduct patient education sessions, teaching clients and their families how to use physical therapy devices and perform rehabilitative exercises safely at home.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and supporting comprehensive patient care strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their mobility and daily activities. Your role is essential in empowering these patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life through structured rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience as a physical therapist in acute care or home care settings, preferably with an emphasis on orthopedics.
  • Possession of a current, in-good-standing physical therapy license in the state of Washington.
  • Valid CPR certification and a current driverโ€™s license with automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits
