Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while leveraging innovative telehealth technologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique challenges of each client.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, various treatment modalities, and essential self-care strategies.
  • Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Stay informed about current research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops, training sessions, and team discussions.
  • Advocate for client needs, including supporting efforts to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve primarily present with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. As an LMFT at Pinnacle Rehab Center, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including vulnerable groups such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, helping them navigate emotional challenges and build resilience.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit empathy, respect, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' struggles and experiences.
  • Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle caseloads effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in treating mood disorders, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
  • Prior work with underserved populations is highly desirable.
