Job description

Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM | Hourly + Bonus
Don Hattan Chevrolet is seeking a Customer Conversion Specialist to help strengthen relationships with our existing service customers and assist them when they are ready to sell or trade their vehicles. This is a relationship-focused role that combines customer service, outreach, and coordination with our sales team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people both in person and over the phone, building trust, and helping customers explore their options without the pressure of closing sales themselves.
What You'll Do
  • Build relationships with customers visiting our service department
  • Speak with customers in person and by phone to understand their needs and future vehicle plans
  • Identify opportunities where customers may benefit from selling or trading their current vehicle
  • Educate customers on their options, the value of their vehicle, and the benefits of working with our dealership
  • Schedule appointments for customers to meet with our Sales Consultants
  • Follow up with customers to maintain relationships and provide excellent service
  • Maintain accurate notes and activity records in our CRM system
  • Work closely with the service and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

What You WON'T Do
  • You will not be responsible for selling vehicles
  • You will not negotiate or close deals
  • You will not advise customers on vehicle repairs
  • Your focus is on relationship building and connecting customers with the appropriate Sales Consultant if they are interested in selling or trading in their vehicle
What We're Looking For
  • Prior Experience in customer service - hospitality, retail, network marketing, account management, or call center experience
  • Friendly, professional, and confident communication skills
  • Strong people skills and ability to build trust quickly
  • Experience speaking with customers in person and over the phone
  • Positive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Experience in BDC, business development, or automotive service is a plus but is not required
