**We are looking for full-time, career driven Mechanical Inspector. This position entails measuring and inspecting parts.

**What your responsibilities will be:

**

  • Read and Interpret customer drawings

  • Follow quality control plans

  • Measure parts to verify dimensions meet specifications

  • Accurately document inspection results in proper format

  • Follow good documentation practices

  • Identify and report any process characteristics such as; scratches, burrs, cosmetic, or dimensional variation

  • Proper use, maintenance, and storage of inspection equipment

**The skills/qualifications we are looking for:

**

  • Good Shop Match

  • Proficient with mechanical inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages, etc)

  • Understanding of SPC (QC-CALC Software or Equivalent)

  • First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR)

  • Final Inspection Certifications

  • Understanding of machining and related manufacturing processes

  • Program & Operate Vision Inspection Equipment (Micro-Vu or Equivalent)

  • Familiar with Statistical Process Control (Minitab or Sigma Excel)

  • Program & Operate CMM (PC-DMIS Software)

  • Understanding of Quality Control Plans

  • Practical Application of GD&T

  • Familiar with ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
