We are urgently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU/CVICU experience to join our dedicated team at Sanford, FL. This full-time position involves providing critical care to patients requiring close and frequent monitoring in an acute care setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and clinical assessment in ICU/CVICU settings.
- Manage and implement individualized treatment plans autonomously.
- Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Health Records and other tools.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes.
- Support team members and participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilize critical thinking and time management skills in high-pressure situations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of recent ICU nursing experience in acute care.
- Registered Nurse Diploma or associate degree (BSN preferred).
- Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cardiac life support protocols (ACLS, BCLS/BCLS Instructor)
- Proficiency in patient monitoring and clinical assessment technology.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and compassionate patient care approach.
- Time management and ability to perform under pressure.
- Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment.
- Completion of PALS or PALS Instructor certification within 6 months of employment.
Additional Information
- Shifts: 12-hour day or night shifts with $4.50/night and $1.50/weekend shift differentials.
- Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 for day shift, $20,000 for night shift.
- Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Patient-to-nurse ratio typically 1:1 or 1:2.
