Job Description

This role is designed for experienced SAP professional with deep expertise inSAP ECC/S4 HANA FICO,with preference of S/4 Group Reporting and SAP SAC experience. The candidate will lead the design and delivery of complex finance transformation programs, translating strategic business goals into structured, scalable SAP solutions. The role requires a blend of technical and functional mastery, business acumen, deep finance process experience and excellent project and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design, work on detailed configuration, create to-be process flows and implement, with Agilent IT and implementation partners, complex projects and programs in SAP ECC FICOandS/4HANA Financemodules, with preference for someone withGroup Reporting and SAP SAC experience.
  • Translate broad business strategies, programs, projects into structured SAP business process flows.
  • Serve as thefunctional/technical leadandFinance business process lead for finance-related SAP initiatives, from Finance perspective, partnering with Agilent IT and implementation partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand & gather requirements, prototype solution designs, for seamless integration for all finance priorities and across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PS), from Finance perspective.
  • Be the leader that liaises with IT to represent all Finance stakeholders and Finance and compliance requirements (including Finance Operations, Tax, Global Trade, Financial Reporting & Consolidation, FP&A etc.).
  • Drivedata migration,cutover planning, andsystem testingfor ECC to S/4 transitions.
  • Solve complex system and process design issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior teammates, lead project teams through delivery and project lifecycle.
  • Be a role model for their peers and practice strong Agilent Values.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to align priorities, and build SAP solutions with business objectives, strategies and KPIs.
  • Have a great attitude and growth mindset of learning and working through uncertainties and challenges.
  • Nice to have, highly preferred: be the lead for Group Reporting and transitioning from legacy system (highly preferred, Oracle EPM) to S4 HANA Group Reporting. Develop and implement best strategies for transition for a successful Finance Transformation from Oracle EPM to S4 Group Reporting and lead for Group Reporting's integration with S/4 HANA, Universal Journal, SAP Fiori Apps., and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
    • 8+ years of experiencein SAP FICO (ECC and S/4HANA)
    • Deep techno-functional expertise in at least 2-3 sub-functions of Finance like Intercompany, RAR, FA, etc.
    • SAP certifications inS/4HANA FinanceandGroup Reporting and SACpreferred.
    • Hands-on and proven experience incurrent role on SAP FICO, S4 HANA. SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud highly preferred.
    • For R2R, upgrading from Oracle EPM Suite to SAP S4 HANA Group Reporting and SAC experience highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding ofE2E business processesacross Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
    • Demonstrated experience in leadingglobal implementationsand managingmulti-geo teams, from Finance perspective.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Deep functional and technical experience working in SAP ECC and S/4HANA FICO modules.
    • Proven working experience inGroup Reporting and transitioning from legacy system (highly preferred Oracle EPM) to S4 HANA Group Reporting, highly preferred.
    • In depth experience in Group Reporting, including Consolidation Process Knowledge, (Understanding of legal and management consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, etc. ). Data Models, Data Monitor, Consolidation Monitor, and ownership tasks, highly preferred.
    • Strong skills in interpreting financial data and troubleshooting consolidation issues
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex workflows.
    • Experience leading S4 HANA implementations, upgrades, especially in Group Reporting, and finance transformation contexts
    • Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with third-party integrations preferred.
    • Familiarity with SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.
    • It would be great to have someone on-site at Agilent's Little Falls site in Delaware.

    This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $106,720.00 - $175,088.00/yr CAD in Canada, or $116,800.00 - $195,275.00/yr USD in the US, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
