A Smile 4 U is a privately owned dental practice with locations in Cartersville, Dalton, Decatur, East Point, and Hiram. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment and advanced scheduling technology to provide comprehensive care under one roof, including:

  • General Dentistry
  • Pediatric Dentistry
  • Oral Surgery

We proudly serve both pediatric and adult patients, and we are committed to creating a positive and memorable experience for every individual who walks through our doors.


Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist at A Smile 4 U, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and enhancing patient care. Your duties will include:

  • Performing all dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to: cleanings, polishing, x-rays, sealants, fluoride applications, and periodontal treatments
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized hygiene plans
  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and treatment plans
  • Accurately charting patient information, including periodontal charting and pre-existing conditions
  • Supporting dentists during special procedures and complex operations
  • Sorting and packaging instruments for sterilization in compliance with OSHA guidelines
  • Acting as OSHA coordinator and ensuring weekly autoclave testing
  • Managing patient charts in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations
  • Assist monthly supply orders
  • Assist scheduling patient recall appointments

Schedule

Monday - Friday (4 days per week)
7:45 AM - 5:00 PM


Requirements
  • Current Georgia Dental Hygienist License
  • Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient screening
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and a clean operatory
