Reporting to the Program Manager, the Navy ERP (N-ERP/SAP) Functional Consultant will support Navy ERP sustainment operations on the NAVWAR CEBO PSS contract. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing mission-critical SAP business applications by providing functional production support, analyzing and resolving system issues, supporting system enhancements and deployments, and partnering with government stakeholders and technical teams to improve business processes. The SAP Functional Consultant will help ensure SAP solutions align with Navy ERP requirements, operational needs, and SAP best practices. This position is located in Charleston, SC. 

What You'll Do
  • Perform day-to-day sustainment duties supporting Navy ERP operations, including SNAP queue management, Quality Control Inspections (QCIs), special project meetings, release management activities, and other assigned sustainment tasks.
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for Navy ERP SAP sustainment operations, ensuring system availability, issue resolution, and continued support of business processes.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP production issues within assigned functional areas while coordinating with users and technical teams as needed.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, identify process improvements, and recommend effective SAP solutions that align with customer needs and Navy ERP standards.
  • Support system enhancements, testing activities, deployments, upgrades, and change management efforts to improve SAP functionality and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, update, and maintain functional specifications, SOPs, desk guides, user documentation, and other required system documentation.
  • Collaborate with government customers, technical teams, functional leads, and business stakeholders to support system improvements and enhance business processes.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, knowledge transfer, and end-user training activities as needed.
  • Ensure implemented solutions align with Navy ERP standards, business requirements, and SAP best practices.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. 
  • Three (3) years of experience providing SAP ERP functional support within a production or sustainment environment, including analyzing and resolving functional issues, supporting system enhancements, and collaborating with business users and technical teams.
  • Experience supporting SAP ERP within at least one of the following functional modules:
    • Financial Accounting & Controlling (FI/CO) - Experience supporting SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling processes, including general ledger activities, financial reporting, cost accounting, internal orders, budgeting support, and financial data analysis to support business operations and decision-making.
    • Funds Management (FM) - Experience supporting SAP Funds Management processes, including budget execution, fund control, financial tracking, availability checks, commitment and obligation management, and supporting government financial management requirements.
    • Sales & Distribution (SD) - Experience supporting SAP Sales and Distribution processes, including order management, logistics execution, shipping, billing, material movement, and integration with supply chain and business operations.
  • Experience providing functional support within SAP production, sustainment, or operational environments, including troubleshooting issues and supporting system improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate solutions, and support effective resolution of SAP-related issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with end users, technical teams, government customers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment to support SAP operations, enhancements, testing, and sustainment activities.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Travel Required ~25% travel required. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Navy ERP or other Department of Defense (DoD) SAP environments.
  • Knowledge of Navy Working Capital Fund (WCF) operations, processes, and business practices.
  • Experience supporting federal financial management, logistics, or other enterprise business systems.
  • Experience working in SAP sustainment environments, including production support, system enhancements, testing, and process improvement activities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. 

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
