Full time music distribution refers to the process of getting music from artists or record labels into the hands of listeners through various channels such as streaming platforms, digital downloads, and physical sales. Music distributors work with platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon to make sure music is available to a wide audience. In a full-time role, professionals manage relationships with artists and platforms, oversee release schedules, and handle royalty tracking. This job often involves marketing and analytics to help maximize an artist's reach and revenue.

To thrive in full-time music distribution, strong knowledge of the music industry, digital marketing, and copyright law is crucial, often supported by a degree in music business or related experience. Familiarity with digital distribution platforms (like DistroKid, TuneCore, or CD Baby), data analytics tools, and music rights management systems is typically required.
