Job Title: Campus Operations Ministry Associate
Ministry/Department: Campus Operations
Reports to: Campus Operations Minister
Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Supervisory Role: No
Objective
The Campus Operations Ministry Associate is responsible for supporting the Campus Operations Minister in equipping the saints for the work of ministry and the discipleship of The Church of Eleven22® family. In this role, the associate assists in the day-to-day operational functions of the campus-ensuring facilities, events and serve staff teams are equipped to support a thriving ministry environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
  • Partner with Campus Operations Minister and Associate Campus Pastor at assigned campus-to deliver ministry at the local campus level
  • Support the leading, recruiting and organizing of Operational serve staff teams, including, but not limited to:
    • Parking
    • Operations
    • Hospitality and Events
    • Implement day-to-day operations of the campus, including, but not limited to:
    • The setting up and tearing down of ministry events
    • Minor repairs and maintenance of the building
  • Support the Campus Operations Minister for events requiring the usage of assigned campus facilities
  • Support and uphold campus safety, security and risk management procedures during services and events
  • Assist with other Operations Ministry staff to help with tithe collection and transportation to the central offices
  • Assist with the planning and support for all events hosted at the assigned campuses, including, but not limited to:
    • Coordinating campus scheduling and facility use for internal ministries and approved external groups
    • Ensure campus spaces are prepared, functional and guest-ready for day-to-day ministry operations, weekend services and special events
  • Manage the onboarding and connection process for new serve staff within campus Operations teams
  • Coordinate and assist in trainings for staff, serve staff teams and serve staff lead to ensure they are up to date on procedures and processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Three to five years of ministry leadership experience including experience managing teams, volunteers and/or ministry areas
Expected Hours of Work
Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.
Schedule Expectations: Sunday through Thursday (hours may vary based on church needs to include working full weekends).
The church has several big events ("All-Skates") throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
This role operates across both office and facility settings at the assigned campus, requiring the ability to move fluidly between administrative and hands-on operational tasks. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks related to facility readiness and event setup and teardown. Weekend and evening availability is expected as a regular part of this position.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
Staff members who qualify under the ministerial exception are not covered by federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws. Please see the Human Resources Ministry team if you have questions on whether you are subject to the ministerial exception.
