About the Role

Client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for raw materials and components used in their high-quality culinary products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strategic supplier relationships that drive cost efficiency and ensure product quality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and manage the organization’s purchasing needs and priorities

  • Source, research, and purchase quality products and raw materials

  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers

  • Maintain and update inventory records while managing stock levels efficiently

  • Coordinate transportation, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery

  • Monitor market trends to make informed buying decisions

  • Collaborate closely with inventory, production, and management teams

  • Manage supplier performance, quality, and compliance issues

  • Escalate and resolve discrepancies in stock quality or deliveries


Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s Degree (required)
✅ 4+ years of procurement experience (protein industry preferred – beef, chicken, pork, or specialty meats)
✅ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
✅ Proven experience in supply chain and inventory management
✅ Excellent organizational and time management abilities
