Build More Than Just Welds

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders / Fabrication Technicians for a full-time manufacturing role.

This is not a production welding-only position. We need skilled welders who can produce quality welds immediately and contribute in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Welding is a core part of the job, but when welding work is complete, you will also fabricate, assemble, and help build prefabricated light gauge steel framing systems used in commercial construction projects throughout the Northeast.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who take ownership of their work, work well independently, and can perform in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

If you take pride in your welds, enjoy building real products, and want variety in your workday, this is a strong long-term opportunity.

Stable, year-round shop work with consistent hours and no travel or job sites.

What You'll Do

  • MIG weld steel framing components and fabricated assemblies (mild steel)
  • Read and work from blueprints and shop drawings
  • Fabricate and assemble steel framing systems
  • Operate saws, presses, grinders, and hand tools
  • Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Assist with general production, material handling, and packaging
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

What We're Looking For

  • Proven MIG welding experience (must be able to pass weld test)
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
  • Ability to demonstrate quality MIG welds upon hire
  • Strong measuring and layout skills
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Experience

  • Metal fabrication or manufacturing
  • Light gauge steel framing
  • Structural or commercial steel
  • Forklift experience
  • Construction background

Why Join Duraframe

You'll be part of a growing fabrication team building prefabricated systems used on commercial projects across the Northeast-not just repetitive welds.

  • Consistent Monday-Friday schedule
  • Year-round indoor work
  • Variety in daily tasks
  • Overtime available
  • Advancement opportunities into lead roles

Apply Today

If you are an experienced MIG welder who can produce quality work, works well independently, and wants a stable fabrication position with variety and long-term opportunity, apply today.
