Kitchen Utility Person, Full Time
Rate of Pay: $21.10/hour

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii ...We currently have openings for talented Full time Kitchen Utility Persons to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job: Performs general or specialized cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks, including transferring food items and required dishes to banquet and luau areas and guest plates.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
  • Responsible for all activities pertaining to cleaning and maintaining the food & beverage storage, preparation and service areas and materials and ensures sanitary condition of all china, glassware, silverware, and cookware and serving utensils.
  • Assists with proper food storage and rotation.
  • Transfers food items and required dishes to banquet and luau areas and guest plates.
  • Performs routine tasks under little or no direct supervision.
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience: One (1) year experience preferred. High school or equivalent education. TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to maintain good team member relations. Dependable.
