Job description

HOURS: FULLTIME:  38 - 45 hour average work week.  Working shifts: Betweenthe hours of 5:30 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. (close). Will have one weekend off permonth.  This person is expected to work;days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Can efficiently control activities anddirect employees of a 360-unit hotel in a professional and proactive manner. Directsemployees when necessary, and in the absence of their manager, in performingtasks necessary for business requirements and customer demand. Upholds allpolicies in coordination with the mission statement and as outlined in employeehandbook by setting or reporting employees who are not following thesepolicies. Provides training to employees on safety, security and emergencyprocedures so they may react wisely and assist management quickly with eventsthat may occur.  Is responsible for thesecurity of building and/or property of the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Certificationin CPR, First Aid, Serve Safe Alcohol and Sanitation will be required. Ensuresthe safety of all employees and guests. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree or minimum 2 years' experience in a related position.

Minimum one yearlearning period in this position at Bavarian Inn Lodge.

Ability to handleemergency situations.

Effective writtenand verbal communication skills. 

Able to cope withhigh-pressure situations and guest complaints.

Ability to givedirection and supervision to hourly employees.
