Crane Operator – Lead Regional Mobile Crane Operations for Aerial Precast Concrete


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital field professional driving the execution of high-precision heavy lifts across complex commercial environments. This position grants you the ownership to manage advanced crane configurations while upholding strict safety parameters for an organization that values your technical mastery. You will have the necessary field autonomy to execute critical lifts backed by a supportive operations team.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Operate hydraulic mobile cranes ranging from 40 to 275 tons safely and efficiently.
  • Execute precision lifts for precast concrete erection and structural steel installations daily.
  • Interpret comprehensive load charts, lift plans, and blueprints to determine maximum crane capacities.
  • Configure outriggers, matting, ground pressure variables, and counterweights prior to every lift sequence.
  • Coordinate directly with riggers, signalpersons, and field superintendents to align real-time site operations.
  • Perform routine daily pre-trip equipment inspections and accurately document maintenance logs.
  • Enforce rigorous compliance with OSHA, NCCCO, DOT, and established organizational safety standards.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of dedicated mobile crane operating experience.
  • Valid, current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification.
  • Possession of/willing to obtain  a valid CDL Class A license alongside a current DOT Medical Card.
  • Demonstrated proficiency independently reading load charts and calculating complex radius demands.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of specialized experience executing precast concrete and structural steel erection.
  • Prior possession of OSHA 30, Rigging, and Signalperson certifications.
  • Proven technical familiarity operating Link-Belt, Grove, Tadano, or Liebherr crane systems.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring apprentice operators or junior rigging crew members.
