Location: Reno, Nevada | Full-time | On-site in a collaborative office where you'll work closely with experienced litigators and have significant courtroom exposure.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada and have 4+ years of litigation experience. Experience in defense litigation, medical malpractice, healthcare law, or insurance defense is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage complex litigation matters from case inception through trial.
  • Develop litigation strategy and advise clients throughout all phases of litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, attend mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluations.
  • Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Deliver outstanding client service while managing multiple active litigation matters.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
  • 4+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Nevada State and Federal court procedures.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Proven ability to independently manage litigation matters.
  • Medical malpractice, healthcare law, or insurance defense experience preferred.
