Job description

Position Overview

My Arcade is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator for the Graphic Design Department. This is a full-time role located on-site at our Torrance, CA headquarters.

This is not a graphic designer position, but the role will serve as a critical quality-control checkpoint before artwork files are released to Product Development and manufacturing. The ideal candidate is meticulous, process-driven, and comfortable reviewing packaging, user guides, labels, inserts, and related print materials for accuracy, consistency, and production readiness.

This position will work closely with the Art Director, Graphic Designers, and Product Development team to help maintain a high standard of visual and technical quality across all deliverables.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, enjoys organization and process improvement, and takes pride in ensuring that product packaging and printed materials are accurate, polished, and ready for market. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and consistency of all My Arcade printed assets.

Responsibilities

  • Proofread and review packaging artwork, user guides, inserts, labels, and related print materials before final release
  • Verify accuracy of spelling and grammar, product specifications, legal/certification markings, UPC placement, consistency of branding and formatting, layout alignment and production notes
  • Cross-check revisions and ensure requested corrections have been properly implemented
  • Maintain organized version control and file management practices
  • Coordinate with Graphic Design and Product Development teams to ensure files are production-ready
  • Help identify workflow improvements to reduce production errors and improve efficiency
  • Review PDFs and print-ready files using Adobe Acrobat markup/commenting tools
  • Track approvals, revisions, and proofing status across multiple projects
  • Assist in maintaining internal proofing checklists and quality assurance standards

Qualifications

  • Extremely strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Acrobat required, familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator preferred)
  • Ability to review and compare artwork revisions carefully and efficiently
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced product development environment
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with packaging, print production, or consumer products
  • Familiarity with packaging die lines, print specifications, or manufacturing workflows
  • Previous experience in artwork proofing, production coordination, or quality assurance
  • Interest in gaming, consumer electronics, or retro gaming culture is a plus
