Job Summary: 

The Motorcycle Service Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a dedication to getting the job done right the first time. While not directly interacting with customers, the Technician plays a key role in supporting sales by identifying additional service opportunities and communicating them to the service team. A strong focus on fostering a positive, service-driven environment is essential, ensuring that every action contributes to both customer satisfaction and dealership success.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, in compliance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
  • Attend factory-sponsored training classes and be familiar with factory technical bulletins
  • Road-test vehicles upon completion of repairs when necessary
  • Ensure that customers’ units are kept clean and protected from cosmetic damage
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste

Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for powersports with specialized knowledge of motorcycles, especially Indian and Triumph brands
  • Experience with Lightspeed or similar point-of-sale software, or the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Able to bend, lift and twist if needed

Requirements:

  •  Must supply and maintain your own tools
  •  Clean driving record, no blemishes
  •  Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles
  •  Current valid driver’s license
