Job Summary

The Creative Designer is responsible for bringing client projects to life through thoughtful design, compelling mockups and presentations, and production-ready artwork. This role supports sales and marketing teams by creating presentations, custom artwork, and visual assets while ensuring all designs meet clientโ€™s brand standards and production requirements. The ideal candidate is creatively driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing design execution with cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Presentations

  • Create PowerPoint presentations for CommonSku (CS) projects
  • Develop high-quality mockups for client presentations
  • Design custom artwork and graphics for promotional products and apparel
  • Curate product selections for client projects

Artwork Production & File Management

  • Create production-ready artwork, including:
    • Separate Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files by artwork location
    • Outlined text (with documentation of original text files)
    • PMS color accuracy and background color specifications
    • Correct use of templates for rush orders or special production requirements
  • Place orders for vector artwork requests and digitizing

Product & Production Support

  • Curate and develop products for client projects
  • Assist Production with decorator correspondence (proofs, sew-outs, rush requests, etc.)
  • Place digitizing requests and assist with embroidery-related artwork
  • Create decorator specification sheets
  • Advise on appropriate sizing and placement for apparel artwork

Tools & Software

  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and PowerPoint to execute designs efficiently
  • Ensure all files are organized, labeled correctly, and production-ready
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong graphic design skills with an eye for detail and brand consistency
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required); Photoshop, Canva, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Understanding of production and print requirements for promotional products and apparel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Interest in trends, branding, and visual storytelling
