We are looking for a Production Designer with Adobe Illustrator skills, experience creating vehicle wrap layouts, and the ability to support a variety of design and production tasks in our busy branding and print environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Designer is responsible for creating clean, production-ready artwork for apparel, signs, banners, vehicle wraps, and promotional products. You will work closely with sales and production staff to prepare proofs, modify artwork, and ensure accuracy from concept through output.
This role begins part-time (20–30 hours/week) with the expectation of moving to full-time within 1–3 months due to rapid growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create production-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Prepare, layout, and scale files for vehicle wraps, decals, wall graphics, and signage.
  • Convert customer-submitted artwork into vector format when needed.
  • Build proofs and mockups for customer approval.
  • Prepare digital art files for embroidery, screen print, DTF, large-format print, and vinyl cutting.
  • Coordinate with production staff to ensure artwork meets equipment and material specifications.
  • Maintain organized file storage, naming, and archiving systems.
  • Communicate with sales staff to clarify design needs and branding requirements.
  • Make revisions quickly and accurately based on customer feedback.
  • Confirm measurements, scaling, colors, and print settings for production accuracy.
  • Assist with final inspection of printed materials, signs, and vehicle graphics.
REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Adobe Illustrator skills
  • Vehicle wrap design experience (layout, scaling, paneling)
  • Understanding of large-format printing and vinyl workflows
  • Ability to interpret measurements, templates, and blueprints
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with vehicle wrap installation
  • Artwork preparation for embroidery, screen print, or digital print
  • RIP software such as VersaWorks or Onyx
  • Experience in sign shops, print shops, or promotional product companies
SCHEDULE & GROWTH

  • Start: Part-Time (20–30 hours/week)
  • Transition: Full-Time within 1–3 months (or immediate)
  • Monday–Friday preferred
  • Occasional overtime during peak production periods
