Job description

Job Summary:
This positions is with Skyline Sales Inc, which includes the Skyline Ford, Mercedes of Salem, and Acura of Salem auto dealerships in Salem, Oregon. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team! This is a full-time, management role in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of HR principles and practices. Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $66,000 to $96,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition to salary, Skyline Ford offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, and life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with employer profit share, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with company goals and objectives

- Manage employee updates, benefits, and department changes in ADP HRIS system

- Complete monthly and quarterly company reports
- Review and manage benefit and recruitment billings

- Oversee recruitment and utilize Hireology applicant tracking system for all open positions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Conduct new hire orientations and coordinate employee onboarding
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefits related inquiries
- Identify training needs and develop and implement training programs for employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
- Continually evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management, addressing any HR-related concerns or issues
- Be a resource to all employees, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR management role, preferably in the auto industry
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve employee relations issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
