Join our team as an Activity Guide and assist guests with all the fun-filled activities Triple Creek has to offer!
At Triple Creek Ranch we are looking for hard-working, reliable, and detailed-oriented individuals that want to be a part of an amazing team.
This job consists of constantly being around guests and providing instruction to our guests.
Here at Triple Creek Ranch, we want to make guests feel like they are in a Montana getaway and want our employees to help us give that experience to them. We want qualified candidates who enjoy a fast-paced work environment and paying attention to the small things to make guests overall experiences more enjoyable.

Overview
Promote guests' enjoyment of their stay at Triple Creek Ranch through a polite and conscientious presentation of the activities and opportunities available; to guide scenic drives, archery, hatchet, sawing, fire starting and sapphire panning, as well as photos of guests on activities. To keep fishing equipment in excellent condition and ready at all times and to assist in transfers for guests.
Essential Functions
  • Guide guests on the CB Ranch and local areas
  • Instruct guests in techniques of Sapphire Panning
  • Instruct guests in techniques for Archery, Hatchet Throwing, Cross Cut Sawing, Branding and Fire Starting while following all rules and safety measures
  • Instruct and lead beginner Mountain Biking and Hiking at or Lavene Creek location
  • Instruct Fly Casting and assist with pond fishing
  • Drive arriving and departing guests to and from the airport when needed
  • Maintain fishing equipment, learn the specific knots (nail knot, triple surgeon, etc.) and obtain guests' fishing licenses
  • Maintain tennis facilities, horse shoe pit and other equipment associated with guests' outdoor activities
  • Be able to read and instruct guest with forest maps, TCR map and local off-site trail maps
  • Provide games, movies, umbrellas, and any other miscellaneous items to guests
  • Help with gift shop sales and record into the POS
  • Give lodge tours/cabin tours for new guests and visitors
  • Inform guests of activities available at Triple Creek Ranch and accommodate guests' requests within the management framework
  • Keep accurate records and make them available to other Activities Guides/Coordinators
  • Take pictures of guests during Logging Camp, Scenic Drives, Lavene Hike or Bike. To be able to download, properly label and print pictures
  • Some knowledge of computers for internet searches, TCR Room Master Reservation system and POS
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the operation of Triple Creek Ranch.
  • Perform any reasonable duties as deemed appropriate by management.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Speak with poise and confidence using proper English.
  • Write with proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure
  • Work efficiently in a noisy and crowded space with many distractions
  • Stand or walk for varying lengths of time and use stairs
  • Lift and carry boxes, equipment, supplies, and other items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on small equipment, tools, appliances, and gear used by the Activities Department.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and pass the required motor vehicle records investigation.
  • Drive and operate various Triple Creek Ranch vehicles safely, effectively, and legally.
  • Always interact with guests in a polite, professional, and competent manner.
  • Function at all times in a cooperative, cheerful, amicable and workmanlike manner.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • An Activities Guide must be completely honest and trustworthy in all aspects of the job, including when working around and when having access to co-workers' and guests' valuables, private property, and personal information.
  • Complete required medical first aid and CPR training and certification.
  • Complete Alcohol Service certification.
