We started in 1964 as a Motion Picture Sound company specializing in sound rentals and later expanded to walkie-talkie rentals, repairs, sales and service of all kinds.

Audio Visual Soldering Technician

Join a positive, fast-paced family-owned company! Wilcox Sound is a 50 year-old business built on providing quality service to sound professionals everywhere. We are looking for a personable employee that will be able to interface with clients. The right individual will also be highly energetic, well organized and responsible. Experiences with Soldering and making cables is a necessity but training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

High attention to detail

General understanding of control system wiring

Basic tool knowledge

Proficient in the safe use of hand & power tools

Flexible with shift hours & timing

Must have reliable transportation

Strong desire to learn & be trained

Problem solving & trouble shooting skills

Job Type: Full-time 

Required Experience: No formal educations is required. One-year experience soldering and/or electro-mechanical assembly 

NOTE: This job is highly focused on building custom cables and repairing audio equipment. Applicant MUST know how to solder wires and cables, crimp connectors and troubleshoot issues on different machines.
