Join a High-Impact Support Services Team

Join a high-impact federal operations team supporting workplace services, facility operations, and customer support functions within GSA Region 8. The Workplace Services Coordinator serves as a key resource for maintaining efficient workplace operations, coordinating administrative and logistical support activities, and delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

This position is responsible for a wide range of workplace services functions including furniture and equipment management, office supply coordination, print management, vehicle support, audiovisual services, inventory control, reception duties, and facility-related customer support. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace services, supporting employees, visitors, contractors, and client agencies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating service requests.
  • Monitor shared workspaces, common areas, and workplace amenities to maintain a professional and functional environment.
  • Coordinate visitor access, escort services, conference room scheduling, and related workplace support activities.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient day-to-day workplace operations.
  • Maintain records, schedules, inventories, and tracking systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Support special projects, workplace initiatives, and other organizational priorities as assigned.
  • Manage the receipt, inventory, distribution, and movement of furniture, office equipment, and workplace assets.
  • Assemble, relocate, and reconfigure office furnishings and workstations to support organizational needs.
  • Coordinate deliveries, shipments, event setups, and workspace reconfigurations.
  • Oversee office printers, copiers, and related equipment, coordinating maintenance and vendor support as needed.
  • Maintain office supply inventories and ensure supply stations remain stocked and operational.
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders on workplace equipment and supply needs.
Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service, administrative, workplace services, facilities, or related experience
  • Experience using computers and standard office software applications
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Experience coordinating multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain and maintain)
  • Hand Truck Safety Certification (or ability to obtain and maintain)
  • Knowledge of safe operating practices for power hand tools and material handling equipment

Preferred

  • Experience supporting GSA or similar federal agency contracts
  • OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain and maintain)
  • Hand Truck Safety Certification (or ability to obtain and maintain)
  • Knowledge of safe operating practices for power hand tools and material handling equipment
Required Certifications Security Clearance Requirement
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
  • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and PIV card issuance
Work Environment
  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment
  • Regular work in storage, shipping/receiving, and facility support areas is required
  • Periodic outdoor work may be required while supporting fleet operations, deliveries, and other workplace service functions
