ABOUT OUR AGENCY:I've been with State Farm since 2006 and opened our first office in Clackamas, OR in April 2011. Since then, we've grown into a strong team of eight full-time team members who take pride in delivering exceptional service and supporting one another every day.
My journey with State Farm started early - I worked part-time as a team member during summer and holiday breaks while in school, then full-time after graduating, and was selected to become an agent at age 24. I earned my degree in Business Finance from Washington State University, and that foundation has helped shape how I run and grow the agency today.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time with my family. I coach my daughter's soccer team, love getting out to the ski slopes in the winter, and enjoy following sports year-round. I'm also involved in my church, where I volunteer in the kids ministry.
For our team, we offer paid time off, health and dental plans, a retirement plan, and reimbursement for licensing costs. We also provide opportunities for additional paid licensing, certifications, and ongoing training to support long-term growth. Beyond the benefits, we enjoy occasional team happy hours, often paired with fun activities or games to stay connected and celebrate together.
Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused. We're committed to investing in our team's success while maintaining a positive and engaging work environment. If you're looking for a place where you can grow, feel connected, and be part of a team that truly enjoys working together, this could be a great fit for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

This position focuses on prospecting new customers to our agency through call, text, and email. Quoting new customers and multi-lining them to additional services we offer that fit their needs. Team members are empowered to become confident lead generators and trusted resources for our customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • People-oriented
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Able to learn computer functions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)

If you are motivated to succeed and can see yourself in this role, please complete our application. We will follow up with you on the next steps in the interview process.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
