As a Security Officer Government Campus Building in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork while handling important security-related responsibilities.

Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor and contractor control in accordance with location protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or first responders when needed, while maintaining detailed logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
