Harpak-ULMA Packaging is seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented IT Support Specialist to support our growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting end users, and working across a variety of technologies in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will work directly with the Director of IT to help maintain reliable technology operations across the company while providing hands-on support to employees both onsite and remotely.

???? One remote day per week after training

What Youโ€™ll Do

As a key member of the IT team, you will help ensure employees have the tools and support they need to work efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Supporting both onsite and remote users
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows operating systems
  • Assisting with WAN/LAN network support and maintenance
  • Setting up equipment and onboarding new employees
  • Supporting Apple devices including iPhones, iPads, and MacOS
  • Assisting with system updates, maintenance, and disaster recovery initiatives
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company technology standards

QualificationsRequired Experience & Skills
  • Minimum of four years of IT support or help desk experience, or Microsoft MCSE certification
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows operating systems
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Active Directory
    • TCP/IP networking
    • Virus protection and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience supporting Apple products and iOS devices
  • Familiarity with Network Application Servers and network maintenance
  • Experience with FileMaker Pro, Great Plains, Rockwell Software, MS Visio, or network wiring is a plus
