Job Summary

Vomela is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our fast-paced production and shipping team. This role supports daily warehouse, shipping, and production floor operations. If you’re safety-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:

  • Verify completeness of shipments against shipping orders
  • Assemble, pack, protect, label, and weigh outgoing shipments
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
  • Move materials to support operators on the production floor
  • Trace shipments when required
  • Maintain adequate inventory of packaging supplies
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe
  • Assist other departments when shipping duties are completed
  • Make local deliveries or pick-ups using a company vehicle
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Forklift experience required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping systems preferred
  • Willingness to learn; training available for the right candidate with a strong work ethic
