Job description

MATERIAL HANDLER

Dynomax, Inc is a family owned company that designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking an experienced Material Handler who will be responsible for placing incoming orders on shelves, picking items/goods according to specific customer requirements, communicating movement of material to internal departments and data entry into ERP system. The Material Handler also monitors inventory and communicates any shortages.

MATERIAL HANDLER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick and move materials and finished goods
  • Ability to drive a forklift and safely move large parts and materials
  • Record cycle counts and annual inventory counts in Epicor ERP system
  • Verify physical counts against computerized records and report and discrepancies to manager
  • Ensure that inventory locations are organized
  • Pull expired product and inform manager
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed

MATERIAL HANDLER REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience is required
  • Experience with computer systems including ERP systems, Fed Ex, and UPS.
  • Licensed driver with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift packages or components weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools and other equipment/machinery
