Our Event Designers are responsible for building strong relationships with our client base and assisting them with organizing the details necessary to execute their events. This is done via inbound calls, emails, and show room appointments. This is a sales position where you will follow a templated sales process from first interaction to prepping the order for an event.

We do this through personalized attention to detail, showroom appointments, and quick, responsive communication over the phone and via email. We work hard. We laugh every day. Who you are:

  • You provide exceptional customer service, and have experience networking and building client relationships.
  • You have 2-4 years of account representative/inbound sales experience. Preferably in hospitality.
  • You have CRM experience. ANY CRM. We will train you on ours.
  • You enjoy selling! The thrill of the chase, hitting goals and earning bonus bucks! You have a track record of making deals.
  • You can work full-time Monday-Friday with up to 2 Saturdays in our showroom per month.
  • You are an effective communicator - able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
  • You are friendly, you get along with others, you play well on a team.
  • You like to move quickly and are ok with repetition - we move fast around here!
  • Details matter to you. Getting your orders right and free from error should make you happy.
  • You like being coached! You can take feedback without ego and are excited to grow, learn and adapt.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and anticipate client's event requirements to determine appropriate rental needs and make suggestions and recommendations as "the expert".
  • Input requested rental items and client info into POR (Point of Rental computer program) and ensure all necessary logistics and details are accurate.
  • Work as an intermediary between the client and the operations team. Providing the inventory and operations teams with all the necessary information for successful execution of the events.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Conduct in-person showroom appointments.
  • Follow the developed sales process. Including up-selling, how to follow up, Zendesk chat best practices.
  • Attend sales coaching sessions with sales director to improve your skills.
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales metrics points (total sales, sales activities).

What we offer:

  • Base Salary: $50,000 per year DOE.
  • Quarterly bonus (for making milestones designated by Director of Sales; total $12,000 per year).
  • Uncapped commission for new accounts
