THE OPPORTUNITY

JunkCo+ of Jacksonville is a family-owned junk removal, light demolition, and cleanout company — and we’re hiring our first Driver & Field Operations Lead. This role is hands-on: most of your week is spent leading junk removal jobs, hauling debris, tearing down sheds and decks, and executing cleanouts for residential and commercial customers. The work is physical, fast-paced, and rewarding.

But we also need someone who can do more than just the labor. Between jobs and on designated days, you’ll represent JunkCo+ in the community — dropping off flyers, building relationships not limited to property managers, contractors, real-estate and opening doors to new commercial accounts. You’re equal parts operator and ambassador. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Junk Removal & Light Demolition (Primary)

• Lead junk removal, property cleanout, and light demolition jobs from arrival to completion

• Drive and operate the company truck safely and professionally (no CDL required)

• Perform heavy lifting, loading, sorting, and disposal — including recycling and donation where possible

• Execute light demo work: shed teardowns, deck removal, interior strip-outs, and debris hauling

• Deliver accurate on-site estimates to residential and commercial customers

• Manage scheduling, job tracking, and customer communication via field software

• Leave every job site cleaner than you found it — that’s the standard, every time

Business Development & Outreach

• Drop off flyers, business cards, and marketing materials at targeted businesses — apartment complexes, property managers, contractors, interior designers, restaurants, hotels, elder care facilities, and storage facilities

• Build and maintain relationships with commercial referral partners who generate recurring work

• Attend networking events and community functions as a company representative when scheduled

• Identify new commercial and demolition opportunities and communicate leads to ownership

WHAT YOU’LL EARN

• Base Pay: $20–$22/hour based on experience

• Tips: Keep 100% of tips on residential jobs

• Commission: 5% on commercial and demolition jobs you source through your outreach

• Paid Vacation: One week, accrued from day one

• You’re not afraid of hard, physical work — and you take pride in doing it right

• You’re a self-starter who doesn’t need to be micromanaged

Requirements

• At least 21 years old (insurance requirement) Valid driver’s license, clean record (no CDL)

• Able to lift 50–75 lbs. repeatedly. Must pass background check and drug screening

• Reliable transportation to/from work. Comfortable with smartphones and field software

Bonus Points

• Experience in moving, construction, landscaping, demolition, or general labor

• Sales, customer service, or account management background

• Existing relationships with contractors, realtors, or property managers in Jacksonville

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Military veteran
