Job description

Seeking Full-Time EMT for Ambulance Gila Health Resources Ambulance Department is seeking a full-time EMT. Our Ambulance Department serves Greenlee County, Arizona with locations in Morenci and Duncan. Join our team of skilled, experienced healthcare professionals and discover your place in helping our community thrive! Low patient volumes and a safe, great small-town family atmosphere with excellent schools and plenty of family activities makes this a career you can enjoy or years to come. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable, professional, possess excellent patient service skills, work well under pressure, and demonstrate the ability to make quick decisions about patient health. Additionally, the candidate must be able to complete paperwork thoroughly and legibly. Must be 21 years of age. A rotating shift schedule (48-hour shift for two weeks followed by one week with a 72-hour shift) allows ample opportunities for moonlighting and/or to enjoy generous time off in between shifts to spend as you please, regularly, including enjoying the beautiful local surroundings which include opportunities for hiking, camping and hunting in the Apache an Gila National Forests. Generous benefits package includes: Medical, dental, vision, Basic Life/ADD coverage, 401k retirement plan with company match, PTO, and sick time. Other benefits include: Travel stipend to and from the work site, Annual Education and Uniform Allowance. Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a post-offer drug and alcohol test and a successful background check, followed by compliance with GHR's random and for-cause employee drug and alcohol testing policy during employment.
