Location: Valentine NE

Job Title: Ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Shift: PRN

Base Pay: Starts at $17.65 per hour, with higher pay based on experience.

On-Call: Must be available to respond to 9-1-1 calls when paged; paid $2.00 per hour while on call.

Call-Back Pay: Time and a half when called in, with a minimum of one hour of pay.


Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care and ensuring the safe transport of patients. The EMT will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient, patient-centered care in emergency situations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide appropriate pre-hospital medical care
  • Assess patient conditions and determine necessary treatment within scope of practice
  • Administer medications and perform approved medical procedures
  • Safely transport patients to medical facilities for further evaluation and treatment
  • Communicate effectively with receiving facilities and healthcare personnel to ensure continuity of care
  • Accurately document patient care and maintain thorough medical records
  • Ensure ambulance, equipment, and medical supplies are clean, stocked, and in proper working condition

  • Previous experience as an Ambulance EMT
