Openings are available for the 2026-2027 school year at several locations and schedules, including five-day and part-time positions at elementary, middle, and high schools. Specific roles include coverage for maternity leave and ongoing school support, beginning August 4, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027. With a full-time schedule of about 37.5 hours per week, you’ll collaborate within a supportive educational team and help students reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Florida SLP license required
- ASHA CCC preferred; new grads completing CFY are encouraged to apply (supervision provided)
- Experience working with severe-profound populations, including proficiency with AAC systems
- Commitment to onsite service (remote/virtual candidates and SLPAs are not being considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students across assigned schools
- Manage a diverse caseload, including assessment, intervention, and documentation
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain timely, detailed records and comply with state and district protocols
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to a team-focused environment
