Estimator - Specialties (Division 10)Summary

A growing commercial construction organization is seeking an experienced Estimator - Specialties (Division 10) to join its Pre-Construction team in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and estimating skills who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate written proposals and bid estimates

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs

  • Support, mentor, and train assistant estimators and project engineers

  • Continuously expand technical knowledge related to drywall, acoustical systems, doors/frames/hardware (Division 8), and specialties (Division 10)

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure competitive and accurate estimating practices

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience as an Assistant Estimator or 5-7 years of overall related construction industry experience

  • Experience in commercial construction estimating preferred
