Job description

Are you an IT professional who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and being the go-to technology resource for a busy operation?

We're looking for a Field Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support at our Dallas, TX manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll support end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain technology equipment, and partner with both local plant leadership and corporate IT to keep operations running smoothly.

Success in this role requires more than technical knowledge. We're looking for someone who communicates well, adapts quickly, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Provide hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, RF devices, and other IT equipment
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Respond to help desk tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely
  • Support Microsoft Office and other business applications
  • Configure and support mobile devices and workstation deployments
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, repairs, installations, and resolutions
  • Partner with plant leadership, employees, and corporate IT teams to support business operations
  • Assist with network-connected equipment and minor structured cabling repairs
  • Train and support end users on technology tools and processes
  • Follow company safety, quality, GMP, and security requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience providing IT or desktop support
  • Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environments
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and mobile devices
  • Experience supporting printers, RF devices, and other plant-floor technology
Work Environment

This position is based onsite at a manufacturing facility. Team members should be comfortable working in an industrial environment that may include:

  • Exposure to heat, noise, dust, odors, and production equipment
  • Walking throughout the plant and warehouse environments
  • Crawling, kneeling, bending, lifting, and working around equipment when troubleshooting technology issues
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe footwear and other safety gear as needed
