The Senior Data Governance Analyst leads efforts to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of enterprise master data across systems. This role is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and enforcement of data governance policies and standards while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.


This individual oversees data validation and stewardship processes, manages complex data structures, and supports strategic reporting and data quality initiatives. The role also provides mentorship to junior team members and plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization through strong governance practices and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of data governance controls, tools, and reporting dashboards
  • Identify and resolve complex data integrity issues while driving data cleansing initiatives
  • Provide strategic recommendations for master data design, governance frameworks, and process improvements
  • Mentor junior analysts and support enterprise-wide data governance education and training efforts
  • Oversee reporting cycles and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management required
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, data warehouse, and workforce systems) required
  • Experience working in cloud-based data environments and familiarity with metadata management practices preferred
