The Creative Storyteller & Social Content Strategist is responsible for identifying, crafting, and sharing stories that celebrate what God is doing in and through Christ Community Chapel (CCC). This role translates ministry impact, personal transformation, and church initiatives into engaging digital content that connects with people both inside and outside of CCC. The full-time Creative Storyteller helps shape how our church sees itself and invites others into what God is doing by capturing moments, voices, and visuals with clarity and care. Responsibilities:
Story Discovery & Development:

  • Conduct interviews and develop narratives that highlight life change, outreach impact, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with pastors, ministry leaders, and the communications team to identify timely and strategic storytelling opportunities.

Social Content & Digital Storytelling:
  • Create social-first content including reels, short-form videos, interviews, captions, photos, and story-driven posts.
  • Capture content during weekend services, events, baptisms, camps, and ministry environments.
  • Help lead content strategy and storytelling execution across social media platforms.
  • Develop and manage a rolling content calendar focused on storytelling, engagement, and ministry communication.
  • Write and edit content for social media, web, email, and digital campaigns while maintaining consistency in voice and tone.
  • Partner with CCC's external communications agency on content planning, story development, and social campaigns.
  • Analyze engagement and content performance to help improve storytelling effectiveness and reach.

Collaboration & Creative Culture:

  • Strong understanding of social media storytelling and digital engagement.
  • Experience creating compelling short-form and social-first content.
  • Ability to recognize meaningful stories and communicate them with authenticity and care.
  • Comfortable capturing content in fast-paced, live-event environments.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and relational.
  • Flexible working weekends, evenings, and key church events as needed.
  • Committed to the mission and vision of CCC.
