Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain Management or related field required.
  • 3+ years' progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years in customer facing experience.
  • Previous experience with an ERP or MRP system (i.e., Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Previous experience using Excel

Brief Overview

An Order Manager is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the lifecycle of customer orders from creation to product delivery. This role requires an advanced working knowledge of supply chain and programmatic processes, an understanding of key internal systems, the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and the ability to influence and direct cross-functional teams and activities that ensure the successful and timely delivery of orders.Order Managers also apply a continuous improvement mindset to make recommendations for process and/or system enhancements.

Order Managers take an active role in building and maintaining high performance relationships with customers and all supporting teams resulting in the achievement of customer SLA's and outcomes. Detailed and timely communication is critical to the success of this role as well as the consistent execution of the responsibilities listed below.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire lifecycle of a WWT Order from creation to final product delivery to the customer. This support is both transactional and analytical in nature and requires a functional level of supply chain knowledge and the ability to proactively communicate (knowledgeably and technically) issues and risks to internal partners and external customers
  • Entering and maintaining accurate order related data/information into WWT's ERP system, and helping to modify data analytics / create reports
  • Taking a self-driven approach to identifying and solving problems
  • Supporting cross-functional accountability throughout WWT Supply Chain
  • Working to achieve KPIs through operational excellence
  • Utilizing data to drive daily tasks to execute order related activities and ensure customer requirements and contractual agreements are satisfied
  • Taking an active role in direct customer interaction to provide order status, reporting, data-driven insights and other updates with professional polish
  • Assisting with the successful onboarding of new customers to ensure customer delight, operational effectiveness
  • Communicating effectively with our internal and external customers
  • Supporting the training and skills development of other employees within the team
