Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractor customers and professional accounts
  • Assist contractors with product selection for construction jobs and projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Recommend complementary and higher-value products to maximize project success and sales opportunities
  • Provide expert advice on hardware, tools, building materials, and construction-related products
  • Generate quotes, place orders, and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with store departments to ensure product availability and smooth order processing
  • Deliver outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and new materials or tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales area
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in contractor sales, hardware retail, construction, or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of tools, hardware, lumber, building materials, and construction processes
  • Proven ability to upsell and provide solution-based recommendations
