Hendrick Motorsports a leader in the auto racing industry is currently seeking a full-time Content Creator to join our Creative Services team within the Marketing Department in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Position Summary:
This is a video-forward role, with a primary focus on capturing and producing high-quality video content across various platforms. At the same time, we are seeking a well-rounded content professional whose skillset extends beyond video. Experience in still photography, light graphic design and general digital content production is valued and will contribute to success in this role.
Creative Services supports brand campaigns, digital strategy, enterprise initiatives and other projects across the organization and our valued partnerships.
This position plays an important role in producing content that aligns with marketing objectives and brand standards while working closely with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized and open to travel regularly throughout the 38-week NASCAR season.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality, video-forward content supporting Hendrick Motorsports marketing and digital initiatives.
  • Capture race-weekend content on-site, including behind-the-scenes storytelling driver features and partner integration.
  • Develop, shoot and edit video content for social media, HendrickMotorsports.com, Partnership activations, Brand campaigns and internal communications
  • Contribute photography assets when appropriate to support digital and marketing needs.
  • Assist with light graphic design or content formatting as needed for social and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate regularly with the social media team to align content with platform strategy and performance insights.
  • Work closely with designers, producers and fellow content creators within Creative Services to execute integrated projects.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, communications and competition teams.
  • Manage footage and digital assets with strong organizational discipline.
  • Maintain production equipment and follow best practices in field production environments.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in video production and digital content creation.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating video-forward storytelling (portfolio required for consideration). Submit portfolio, as an attachment with resume or share as a link on resume.
  • Proficiency in shooting and editing video (Adobe Premiere Pro required; After Effects a plus).
  • Working knowledge of photography and photo editing workflows.
  • Basic design proficiency (Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator) sufficient for social and digital content support.
  • Experience capturing content in live-event or fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the 38-week NASCAR season, including weekends.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital-first content strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative marketing environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in auto racing or other professional/collegiate sports.
  • Familiarity with short-form vertical video formats.
  • Drone certification (Part 107) a plus.
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines
