Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through individual and family interviews.
  • Developing and facilitating evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique dynamics and challenges of the clients you serve.
  • Engaging in therapeutic sessions with couples and families, addressing a range of concerns, including but not limited to:
    • Alcohol addiction and substance abuse.
    • Experiences of physical and psychological trauma.
    • Grief and loss, including loss of loved ones.
    • Interpersonal conflicts among family members, including sibling rivalry.
    • Bridging communication gaps within families.
    • Issues surrounding blended families, separation, and divorce.
    • Adjustments and coping strategies related to life transitions.
    • Promoting stress management techniques in the face of job and health-related stressors.
  • Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize treatment strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including adults, children, and adolescents.
