You will be joining a dynamic team of licensed mental health professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. We provide our staff with the latest digital technologies and tools to facilitate seamless communication and care delivery. Our community health clinic setting ensures that you are part of a supportive environment focused on holistic patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial assessments and developing customized treatment plans for individuals and couples.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions for couples while also addressing individual concerns, ensuring comprehensive care for all family members.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of issues including, but not limited to, alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, and difficulties in communication.
  • Regularly monitoring and documenting client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for patients.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with adults and adolescents within diverse family structures. This includes providing support for blended families navigating remarriage, addressing the unique challenges faced during separation and divorce, and helping mothers and daughters resolve conflicts. Your role is essential in creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to engage in meaningful discussions about personal and relational issues.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience post-licensure.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in family dynamics, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention are preferred. Familiarity with telehealth modalities and digital therapy tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Better Movement Coaching Hub offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we provide:

  • A comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching.
  • Generous paid parental leave and paid time off for holidays.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support personal wellbeing.
  • Collegial work atmosphere with modern office spaces—enhanced for remote work dynamics.
