Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Objective of Position: As the “face” of Soccer Shots, our success is nationally recognized and locally respected. Our brand is dependent on the exemplary performance of our team. It is the Full-Time Coach’s responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operation of a Soccer Shots session and promotion of the seasons including, but not limited to the tasks listed below.
Program Execution

  • Coaching a minimum of 30 sessions per week during Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall seasons are included in the position requirement and compensation.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
  • Conducting high-energy, fun, organized Soccer Shots sessions.
  • Following proper weekly Soccer Shots lesson plan.
  • Train coaches on-site and update team on progress.
  • Evaluate instructors
  • Submit evaluation of instructor online and communicate with coach within 24-48 hours of the evaluation.
  • Attending coaches’ meetings and training.
  • Maintaining equipment set in proper condition.
  • Arrive Early. “On-Time” is late: This means getting to your site at least 10-15 (schools) and 15-20 (parks) minutes early so you are set up and children are on the field at scheduled start time.
  • Update attendance records daily. Communicate with team of any issues, additions etc.
  • Boost enrollment at sites using guest passes.
Marketing and Communications:

  • Distribution of seasonal marketing materials for Soccer Shots programs. Seasonal drop offs for registrations, final reminders, and public program marketing material, etc.
  • Enhance relationships with directors and parents. Communicate courteously with site directors, teachers, and parents. Engage in conversation and small talk. Always smile and be positive when representing our brand.
  • Running program demos/open houses/back to school nights at partner sites, public programs, and other Soccer Shots events.
  • Assisting with direct mail preparation and distribution, promoting park programs.
Working Hours/Location/Schedule:
The job description above is a full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible) position requiring 40 hours of work per week. Your weekly agenda will be assigned by the Program Director. The Coach will expect to work in the Miami Dade and South Broward counties.
