Your future role at a glance

Location: Partially Remote

Facility: Jacksonville - Offsite - Must live within 50 miles.

Department: Specialty Billing

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | 7:30am - 4pm | Monday - Friday

Salary: $24.87 - $33.64 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role 
  • Coordinate daily shift activities, manage virtual resource allocation, and assign tasks to maintain a high-performing, seamless billing operation from anywhere.

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the team-answering complex billing questions, resolving high-level claim escalations, and working directly alongside associates on intricate accounts.

  • Monitor daily work progress and conduct regular quality reviews to ensure strict accuracy, peak productivity, and full alignment with health system policies and billing standards.

  • Provide actionable feedback, observations, and insights to management to support staff performance evaluations, ongoing remote coaching, and continuous operational excellence.

  What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative jobspecific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • 5 years of experience in acute and hospital medical billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
  • Expertise in reviewing and resolving complex billing issues while assisting in the development and implementation of organizational billing policies and procedures.
