JOB SUMMARY/ DESCRIPTION

The Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court & County Comptroller is looking to hire a highly motivated individual willing to grow and develop within a fast-paced environment driven by a culture of service. We are looking for an individual who can efficiently manage and maintain our historical records, as well as handle data entry tasks for our retention center located in Poinciana.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in multiple records management systems and software applications.
• Classify, index, label, store, track, and maintain physical and electronic records to ensure their integrity, accessibility, and accountability.
• Manage the circulation of records by maintaining an accurate tracking system for checked-out files and ensuring their timely return.
• Respond to internal and external requests for records in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Organize, audit, and maintain records in compliance with applicable records retention schedules, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with the transfer, archival, or lawful disposition of records in accordance with established retention requirements.
• Conduct periodic inventories and audits to verify the accuracy, organization, and compliance of records maintained at the Retention Center.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, departments, vendors, and the public through courteous and professional communication.
• Work overtime as required to meet operational needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer and standing for long periods of time.
• Frequent and repetitive stooping, lifting, and bending.
• Talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motion.
