Position Summary
Centrex Technical Sales is seeking a Warehouse Driver (CDL) to support daily warehouse operations and perform safe, reliable deliveries to customer locations. This role is a hybrid position requiring hands-on warehouse work combined with CDL-regulated driving responsibilities, including flatbed and material handling deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix material environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations (25%)
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Organize inventory to maintain clear, safe, and efficient warehouse flow
  • Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to job requirements
  • Safely load and unload materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
  • Perform shipping and receiving functions, including packing, labeling, and documentation
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Follow established warehouse procedures, checklists, and red-tag processes to prevent shipping errors

Driving & Delivery Responsibilities (CDL) (75%)
  • Safely operate CDL-required vehicles, including flatbed trucks, in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Transport materials to customer locations in a timely and professional manner
  • Secure loads properly using straps, chains, and edge protection as required
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Verify delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures, and document discrepancies or damage
  • Represent Centrex Technical Sales professionally at customer sites

Safety & Compliance
  • Comply with all DOT, CDL, and company safety requirements
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and according to training
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all PPE requirements and safety procedures

Qualifications & Requirements
Required
  • CDL driving experience, current CDL license not required
  • Clean driving record in accordance with company and insurance requirements
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Experience driving flatbed trucks
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle 50 plus lbs of industrial materials
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
  • Familiarity with freight handling, load securement, and industrial materials
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industry customers

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and delivery vehicles
