Title: Operations Coordinator (ASL & Accessibility Service) Remote

Job Summary
MT & Associates is a small, woman-owned business providing professional ASL interpreting and CART captioning services that support accessible, effective communication for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. We plan and coordinate communication access for a wide range of meetings, time-sensitive requests, and complex events, balancing multiple schedules and details to ensure services are delivered accurately, on time, and with care.
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage scheduling, contractor coordination, and service delivery across multiple regions in a fully remote environment. This role is a strong fit for candidates with experience in operations, scheduling, or event coordination, including those transitioning from ASL interpreting or other accessibility services roles.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ASL interpreting and captioning service requests from intake through completion.
  • Schedule and manage accessibility services for meetings, conferences, and events across multiple regions.
  • Communicate with clients, interpreters, and captioners regarding assignments, logistics, and updates.
  • Manage contractor availability, assignment placement, and ongoing communication.
  • Handle scheduling changes, cancellations, urgent requests, and coverage needs.
  • Monitor assignment fulfillment and service quality, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records, documentation, and operational data.
  • Support contractor recruiting and onboarding processes as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with workforce planning and resource coordination across regions.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, scheduling, coordination, customer success, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with clients, vendors, or independent contractors.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, email, and standard business software.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in interpreting services, accessibility services, staffing, or event coordination.
  • Experience managing remote contractors or distributed teams.
  • Experience as an ASL interpreter or in an interpreting coordination role is a plus but not required.
