How you'll make an impact

As a Senior Financial Analyst your primary focus will be collaborating with Underwriting,  Risk Management, and Accounting teams to manage and oversee the financial operations of group captive insurance companies. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the financial management of group captive insurance companies.
  • Perform financial analysis on behalf of clients, and provide consultation to clients around analytical findings.
  • Establish and develop long term relationships with clients and external service providers such as actuaries, tax advisors, auditors, investment managers, bankers, carriers and TPAs.
  • Prepare and present financial materials for Board of Directors meetings of group captive insurance companies managed by Artex.
  • Manage process improvement projects, and also act as an analytical or procedural expert to represent the team on cross-functional process and project deliverables.
  • Assist in the formation and management of new group captive insurance companies.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years related experience.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft application skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of insurance concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability.

Preferred:

  • Financial accounting or related experience.
  • Willing to travel to client facing or internal meetings 4-6 times per year.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a preferred understanding of Power BI.
  • Prior experience with SQL Server or a willingness to learn is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of data reporting, or willingness to learn.
