Captive Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team in West Hempstead, New York. • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and review medical histories to ensure accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care that addresses the needs of patients of all ages.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and order diagnostic tests, interpreting results to develop effective treatment plans that prioritize patient health.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and partake in patient education initiatives that promote preventive health measures and lifestyle enhancements.
• Monitor and manage patients with chronic conditions, making necessary referrals to specialty care while maintaining continuity of care.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system, thereby enhancing efficiency and care coordination.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives aimed at refining clinical practices and staying abreast of medical advancements.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, creating a supportive and trusting environment for patients and their families.
• Uphold all ethical standards in medical practice while ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.

In this role, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, including families with young children, adults, and seniors. Our focus on preventive care allows us to promote health and wellness across various demographics, addressing the unique needs and challenges of each age group.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA Certification and a valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies is required.
• Strong foundational skills in active listening, critical thinking, and effective communication to interact successfully with patients and team members.

• Experience utilizing the EPIC EMR system is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with preventive health strategies and chronic disease management is a plus.

The Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
