QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least eighteen years of age, qualified with a CERTIFICATE AS AN ADMINISTRATOR through DEEDS and meet the requirements of the licensing agency. Must be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Center's program and philosophy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

Regarding Staff:

Track staff attendance: weekly lateness

Track monthly perfect attendance

Handling of Service Awards for Staff

Staff annual training tracking and follow up

New Hire orientation and checklist

Staff Background checks – every five years – tracking

Staff cpr/first aid tracking and compliance

Staff med certification tracking and compliance

Interviewing and Hiring and Termination of staff and ensuring all paperwork/staff files are completed

Ensure all checklists on shared drive are completed and up to date at all times

Scheduling of staff and managing call outs and time off requests

Staff classroom observations

Uniform compliance for staff

Qarrot points assignment

OCCL compliance checks monthly in all classrooms/center

Assessment compliance by staff regarding curriculum

Monitoring brightwheel for staff compliance/ spot checking (forms to be kept in compliance binder)

Ensuring curriculum is pre-loaded in advance into BW and materials are pre-purchased and ready for staff timely

Communicate with staff/ build relationship and morale in center

Staff performance evaluations annually

Staff meetings

Staff corrective action/plans

Regarding general center requirements:

Taking payments and tracking payments

Monitor staff classroom daily tracking attendance sheets and forms reflect appropriate ratio/compliance

POC Tracking and monthly portal review/ POC worksheets/ updated brightwheel billing

Children transitions paperwork and overseeing; monitoring and understanding room transition chart

CACFP and annual forms/roster/brightwheel updates

Annual ages and stages compliance

Brightwheel billing

Monthly Fire Drills

Overseeing curriculum use in center/ensuring done properly

Sub in as needed

Opening/Closing center as needed

Filing and Archiving

Permission slip and payment tracking

Touring the center

Center cleanliness/repair/ weekly cleaning of AC filters

Regarding Children/Families:

Enrollment and Unenrollment of children and ensuring all paperwork/child files are completed

Updating Health Appraisals for children/ monthly checks on who is due

Parent Teacher conferences management

Child developmental plans

Ensure all checklists on shared drive are completed and up to date at all times

Interface with families/ parent / all center communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $39,500.00 per year
