Job Summary
A growing financial institution in the Summerville area is seeking a Banking Specialist to join its team on a direct hire basis. The Banking Specialist will support customer transactions, account activity, operational processes, and internal banking functions while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and strong service standards. Responsibilities

- Review transactions for accuracy, discrepancies, compliance requirements, and potential fraud concerns.
- Assist with loan servicing, deposit operations, account maintenance, and other operational support functions.
- Maintain cash handling accuracy, balancing responsibilities, confidentiality, and adherence to banking policies and procedures.
- Identify issues, escalate concerns appropriately, and support branch or operational initiatives as needed.
- Process customer banking transactions, account activity, deposits, wires, checks, and related operational documentation.
- Support branch banking, customer service, deposit operations, and loan servicing functions.
- Review financial transactions for accuracy, discrepancies, fraud prevention, and proper escalation.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations, confidentiality standards, and internal policies.
